Choosing Manuel for our wedding was the best decision we ever made! My parents were relieved that he spoke English, which sounds funny to say but honestly it makes a huge difference and helped everyone feel comfortable! We searched forever to find someone with the style of photography that Manuel offers and when I tell you our pictures turned out PERFECTLY, I'm not exaggerating at all! Manuel is fantastic at what he does and he went ABOVE AND BEYOND the call of duty for us to ensure we had a fantastic day. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, look no further!! "Manuel photographed our February 2021 wedding in Antigua Guatemala, and I would totally recommend him! We first contacted Manuel after seeing his work on Instagram. The quality and style of his images stood out in a crowd of wedding photographers. We were looking for a candid-style wedding photographer with a relaxed style that’s both modern and timeless. Manuel’s vibe aligned exactly with what we were seeking. After meeting with him, it became clear that we had found a great match, both in terms of style and personality. The connection and ease we found with him shows through in the final product. Manuel knew exactly how to make us feel like we were just hanging out with a friend. We also did an engagement shoot, which at first I was doubtful about. At Manuel’s suggestion, we went ahead with it. I’m so glad we did. It was useful to practice posing and working together ahead of our wedding. We have the most beautiful and unrushed photos from that magical time right before the big day. On the wedding day, things ran late and we had little time for pictures. But we managed to hit the ground running having had ample experience during the engagement session. Also the pics are stunning, filled with that glowy, flattering light. On a practical note, Manuel was consistently communicative, agile, and punctual throughout the entire process. Manuel’s eye for detail is astounding, and beyond his technical expertise, he is a joy to work with. On the day he deftly navigated complex family dynamics, moved swiftly through the portrait session, and knew when to blend into the background and when to assert himself to get the best pictures. Our family members assumed Manuel must be a friend, because of how well he was able to jive with our group. A framed print that hangs over our couch receives frequent compliments. We also purchased a fine art album which is quite simply a work of art. If you’re looking for a cheap photographer, Manuel definitely isn’t the one for you. But if you value photography and want someone who is a master of their craft and a true professional all-round, look no further. We will treasure these photos forever. Manuel is fantastic! His team got great candid shots and also gave everyone unbelievable direction. Our family all loves Manuel and his teams interactions. Although they remained professional it felt like we had friends taking our pictures :). We also very much liked his process, we are based out of the Pacific Northwest so we were worried about miscommunications or issues but with Manuel and his team it was smooth sailing. He also was available anytime we had concerns or questions arise. However the biggest reason we felt comfortable with Manuel was because he Insisted we meet via Video or telephone meetings a couple times before the wedding. He let us know this was for us to get to know each other find out or likes and dislikes and makes for a smooth meeting when we finally meet in person. It was 100% accurate we felt like we were in great hands and when we met Manuel in person for our wedding day we felt like we were meeting an old friend. The interaction with all the guests was amazing and the pictures were amazing! No to mention completed and delivered timely and conveniently. Manuel and his team of photographers did an amazing job at capturing the most important moments of the wedding, along with really capturing the flow and energy of that day. I highly recommend hiring him and his bilingual team because they integrated themselves so well into the wedding, that we didn't even notice they were there. Communication since the moment we hired him to the day of the wedding was amazing despite the fact that we don't live in Guatemala, he was always responsive. My husband is not a big fan of pictures, but they made him feel very comfortable, they listened and took note of the fact that we didn't want poses and we wanted more of a documentary style of photographs...and they delivered! Couldn't be happier with the way they turned out. Highly highly recommend him!

Desde que vimos las fotos de Manuel Aldana en su perfil de instagram supimos que queríamos que fuera el fotógrafo de nuestra boda. Sus fotos son únicas. Una de las cosas que nunca se nos olvidará es la manera en que respondió a la cancelación de nuestra boda debido a la pandemia.
